If it’s up to Chanel we will all be walking on cork wedges this summer, wearing a cape and channelling the ‘Chanel croissant’, the non-edible version (in case you’re wondering). In the Chanel Spring-Summer 2016 haute couture show, the models’ hair resembled a croissant, hence the ‘Chanel croissant’. And yes, Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid walked the Chanel runway.
Talking about the runway, the Grand Palais, Paris, was transformed into a garden with a wooden house and grass (oozing an oriental feel). Strutting down the runway models wore some exquisitely embroidered and beaded clothing some even featuring wood shavings as Karl Lagerfeld was all about recycling and reusing (like paper and plastic) for this collection.
So sit back and relax and watch the Chanel Spring-Summer 2016 haute couture show.
