Walk No Run To The Christopher Kane Sample Sale

So first things first…don’t bother reading this article just go the Christopher Kane Sample sale now before it all goes!!

The sale is at the new Showcase premises in the swanky St James development in Piccadilly. It’s their new space and I heard a member of staff saying that it will be fully up and running by September when they will officially launch. It’s certainly a good space. Similar in feel to The Box and way easier to get to than Hackney. There were screened off changing spaces and these were overflowing and a good cloakroom and till operation.

The sale opened at 11am, I arrived about 11:05, no line outside…but a fairly long line inside and some people already cashing out with bags and bags (they were clearly allowed in earlier than the public 11am opening time). Cloakroom didn’t take too long and I was in!

The prices are AMAZING, literally the best reductions I have ever seen. For example the lame pleated skirts that I lust after which are around the £900 mark were £79. There was a really great selection, people had literally armfuls of stuff. Check out the pricelist – you literally won’t believe your eyes. I was in Bicester Village a few weeks back and there was the final clearance of the previous season in Christopher Kane with discounts around 85% off – those prices were still around double those I saw today.

Huge amounts of shoes – some queuing for an assistant to fish out sizes but such lovely staff – really friendly and smiley!

There was both men’s and women’s clothes, shoes and accessories. I saw an amazing plaid coat which had the CK kilt pin on the lapel – still on the hanger in the cellophane that was well over £1k retail – it was £89.

All the size range was available. I’m sorry I didn’t get more photographs but I was quite overawed and also wanted to cash out before the line got too long because people literally were struggling to carry their hauls.

If you are in the area I fully recommend. It’s open until 8:30pm.
