It’s sample sale heaven at the Liberty London sample sale. If you haven’t scheduled a visit yet you definitely should. The prices are amazing and the Liberty London sample sale is well worth a visit.
Need an extra incentive to head over to the Liberty London sample sale? This might do it. As the sample sale is in Hackney’s fashion area, right next to some outlets (Burberry, Aquascutum, Pringle and a few others) you can stock up on your new outfit at steeply discounted prices. The area is about a five minute’s walk from Hackney Central overground.

Getting to Hackney Central on London overground wasn’t too tough, it’s an easy change at Highbury & Islington tube (Victoria line). Not surprisingly, the star attraction at the Liberty London sample sale was famous “Liberty prints”.
There was an especially good selection of men’s shirts and I scored four of them at just £25 each.
Women’s silk scarves and women’s bags also featured heavily, including some beautiful totes at £100. There also was a smattering of women’s wear, children’s clothes, stationary and homewares (NB the selection of homewares was pretty small). I bought two beautiful notebooks, one with a paisley Liberty print at £10 and another leather bound for £25.
The sale organisers said there would be some restocking as the event continues, and they didn’t rule out the possibility of price reductions later on.
