Whether you’re bikini bound and escaping the rain for the sun or going for milder temperatures this season have you thought how to keep your skin hydrated when you travel? We all know that jetting around the world sucks moisture out of your skin. So how to keep your skin hydrated when you travel?
Dr. Ava Shamban gives you 3 easy tips in this above video ‘How To Keep Your Skin Hydrated When You Travel’ which in short are:
1. Prepare your skin for your flight. Drink a lot of water the night before and start moisturising. This way your skin cells are fully hydrated. Continue to drink water during your flight and stay away from alcohol.
2. For those pesky cracked lips pack lip balm. The waxier the better. Lip balms with beeswax traps moisture inside your lips and keeping them from cracking
3. Booked a window seat? Do make sure to slather on sunscreen and an antioxidant serum. Why you may think? Because the higher the altitude the more ultra violet radiation penetrates your skin. Don’t forget to pack an antioxidant snack like pomegranates too.
