Clinique A Different Nail enamel nail polish

If you are a nail polish fan you can’t have missed the release of the Clinique A Different Nail Enamel For Sensitive Skins line earlier this year. Clinique nail polish has been introduced to reduce skin sensitivity and the chances eyes will itch, burn or water with contact, for example when you touch your eyes or rub them. And if I read the ingredients correctly, it is also a 5 free nail polish meaning it doesn’t contain formaldehyde, toluene, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), formaldehyde resin and camphor (these ingredients are linked to toxicity).

I got “Fizzy” (number 03) which is a vintage rose pink colour with bronze undertones and subtle silver shimmer. Fizzy has a nice shimmer finish and looks elegant on my nails. Even with only one layer my nails show a pearly luster (although a bit sheer). To even things out and to get more coverage I applied two coats. By the way, it is a great shade for the office.

The Clinique A Different Nail Enamel For Sensitive Skins line comes in a round bottle with a silver cap which has the Clinique name embossed into it. As the brush is short, narrow and flat, Fizzy spreads easily without having to drag it. Not only is it really light and easy to put on it also dries quickly.

The polishes cost €16/£12 per bottle.
