Another week, another sample sale and this week I went to the popular Être Cécile sample sale (which also includes Être Petite, Marimekko, Nomia, Perks and Mini, Dima Leu, Lot 78, Allude, and Sykes) at The Box, in Hackney.
Ètre Cècile is known for their cool, playful prints mixed with logos and colour, influenced by French casual style. Their ready to wear clothes are brilliant everyday pieces that sits comfortably well with designer pieces for the perfect off duty look.
However, with luxury basics there’s usually a high price, but luckily during this sale there were plenty of bargains! Prices start at just £10, with the most expensive Ètre Cècile item at £35. Compare this to their usual prices of £100 for a sweatshirt, or £325 for a jacket and you can see why this sale gains so much interest!
Alongside the amazing prices were the vast selection of pieces available. There were numerous printed logo Ts (£15), an impressive amount of sweatshirts in a style to suit everyone (£20), sweatpants, dresses and a good selection of denim and outerwear.
Their adorable Ètre Petite range was also available, with prices around £15 for cool motif Ts, sweatshirts and sweatpants to kit out your mini me in style.
Alongside the Ètre Cècile range were higher priced pieces from Paper Mache Tiger. They had designers such as Dima Leu casual wear (trackpants £230 down to £80), Marimekko bags and homeware (prices from £35), Allude cashmere ( shawl £315 down to £100), Nomia (beautiful evening dresses, £503 down to £180), and Rejina Pyo (dress £525 now £215). There was also a good selection of sunglasses for £20, perfect for this beautiful sunny weather.
Go grab yourselves a bargain, you’d be hard pressed to leave empty handed. If I can try on sweatshirts on the hottest day of the year then you know it’s worth it!
