Bailey’s Stardust is the new exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery and celebrates the work of world renowned photographer David Bailey. With a career that has spanned more than half a century you can expect images from models, actors, writers, musicians and people David Bailey encountered on his many travels like people from Papua New Guinea. Some famous, some anonymous but all make you look twice.
Because of his very long career, the exhibition is also a flashback to the beautiful and famous women of the past decades. For example, Catherine Deneuve, who David Bailey married in 1965, can be found but also Jerry Hall, Penelope Tree, Jean Shrimpton and Kate Moss to name a few. And what would you say about the Rolling Stones or Jack Nicholson?
