10 Things To Do In London In September

things to do in London

It’s nearly autumn but knowing our unpredictable British weather, we are hoping for a few for bright sunny days before the new season truly kicks in. And whether it’s warm, wet or windy, there are plenty of cool things to look forward to this September!

So see below for 10 Things To Do In London In September 2015.

LFW

1. London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week (LFW) has to be the most exciting thing happening in London this month (for every fashion biased person, that is)! Whilst tickets to some of the shows are potluck and often depend on credentials, walking around the BFC Show Space and taking in the atmosphere is a fantastic thing to do in itself. There are numerous exhibitions at the Designer Showrooms too and if you try talking nicely to your well-connected friends, you could even wangle a few party invites!

When? 18th -22nd September
Where? Mainly in and around Brewer Street Car Park, Brewer Street, London W1F OLA (note: from this September LFW is now taking place at Brewer Street (and not Somerset House)) although individual show locations tend to vary. Check the London Fashion Week website for the schedule here.

2. British Art Fair

The British Art Fair is unique in that it focuses on modern and post-war art, typically from the 70’s onwards. Whilst some of the biggest names in the modern art realm (including Damien Hirst) can be found here, you can also invest in some of the more up and coming artists for a whole lot less.

When? 9th – 13th September
Where? Royal College of Art, Kensington Gore, London, SW7 2EU

proms in the park

3. Last Night of the Proms

We talked about the proms back in July but the grand finale is due in September. Even if you are not lucky enough to get tickets to the Royal Albert Hall event, Proms in the Park are just as fantastic (and even more energy, in my opinion) and you can wear jeans (not that it is of any consequence to our fashionista readers)!!

When? 12th September
Where? Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park

London in the sky

When? 17th – 30th September 2015
Where? St Katharine Docks, Tower Bridge Approach, St Katharine’s Way, London, E1W 1LA
