5. Rooftop Film Club
What better way to soak up the magic of the silver screen from a deck chair on one of London’s fabulous roof tops? Sip a drink (or two) and watch iconic films like Top Gun, Greese, Pulp Fiction, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and many more while the sunset goes down on London. Sounds tempting? 6. Buckingham Palace Summer Opening
Buckingham Palace, the official London residence of the Queen, will open its lavishly furnished State Rooms this summer. The rooms contain paintings by masters such as Rembrandt, Rubens, Vermeer and Claude, sculptures by Canova and Chantrey etc. As your ticket also gives entry to the gardens make sure not to miss the guided tours.

7. Granger & Co – Clerkenwell
Happen to be in Clerkenwell and looking for a place to breakfast/lunch/dinner or simply a quick bite? Do pop by Granger & Co (Clerkenwell). You might know it from its Notting Hill outlet, but there’s one in Clerkenwell (and King’s Cross) as well. All three restaurants have slightly different menus and are based in light filled venues. Making it a pleasant place to eat and meet up. Do try one of Bill’s Pizettas when you are in the Clerkenwell restaurant as they make a great starter to share or just munch them by yourself. They also do a takeout and from experience the Pizettas are also tasty when eaten cold…

8. Canary Wharf Jazz Festival
The Canary Wharf Jazz Festival is back this August. This free Jazz Festival is a favourite among many music lovers not just because it’s free but also because of it’s line up. This year’s musicians are for example Red Snapper, Julia Biel and many more.

9. Tower Of London – Luna Cinema
How about watching Star Wars – The Force Awakens, Gladiator and Romeo + Juliet at the Tower Of London? For the first time ever Luna Cinema has given permission to host an outdoor cinema at the Tower of London. For sure an experience not be missed! Just hope that the weather gods think so too.
